SERVICE AREA: Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Finland, France, Georgia Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Mongolia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and Venezuela.

PROGRAM TYPE: One or two school semesters beginning in August. January for one semester students.

FINANCES: Students have own spending money, personal supplies, medical insurance. Families provide food, sleeping accommodation & family support for cultural adjustments.

VISITOR REQUIREMENTS: Students must be between 15 and 18 years old. Must have a 3.0/4.0 GPA, high moral standards and pass a listening, reading and writing English test before being accepted to the program.
Families are notified within 24 hours of the selection time. Students are notified via fax upon selection by a host family.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: WE offers host families the opportunity to learn about another culture. Families experience living with a young person who has learned to think and act in a different way. It is an opportunity for all to grow. Students come from 30 different countries. Families may choose a student from our total group of available students. Orientation and counseling are provided during the experience. World Experience is a volunteer network of people who believe that our children are our best hope for the world.
