PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This program is part of a two way exchange that seeks to promote international understanding and friendship between the people of Oregon and Costa Rica. Families are given the opportunity to learn about Costa Rican culture and develop long lasting ties. Families are matched with students that share their common interest. Students attend school with their host and are accompanied by two bi-lingual chaperones. Host families participate in pre-arrival orientations. This is an excellent opportunity to share your families culture and customs.
