PROGRAM TYPE: July 3-Aug 1, 2008 four week Spanish language immersion for teachers and others.
July 27 - July 21, 2008 two week Spanish language immersion for teachers & others.
COSTS: $2975 4 wks, $2200 2 wks
$375-625 credit fee for language programs. (Estimated)
REQUIREMENTS: Teachers have priority. Family members may accompany, minor children only with parent. Graduate credit available; undergraduate by special arrangement.
Program application deadlines: April 1 or as space permits
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Designed for teachers in-service and in training, others welcome as space permits.
2 and 4 Week Spanish Language Immersion Program: Intensive Spanish 4 hours per day emphasizing oral skills plus 5 hours per week of proficiency oriented teaching methods by Oregon master teacher, homestays with Mexican families, local field trips, Mexico City tour. University credit optional at additional cost, 2 week program 5 credits, 4 week program 10 credits.
