4 week summer homestay programs
Semester /Year programs in Costa Rica, France, Mexico, Spain, and New Zealand.
Adult programs available.
COSTS: Summer: $1700 and up.
Semester: from $4100 and up.
REQUIREMENTS: Ages: 14-18 varies with each program.
For most programs there is a one or 2 year language requirement. All programs require teacher recommendations and a phone interview.
Applications accepted until programs are full.
Apply by April 1 for summer programs.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Since 1981, Portland-based ANDEO International Homestays (formerly International Summerstays) has specialized in homestay programs. American students can spend a month with host families in France, Germany, Mexico or Spain experiencing the culture as one of the family. We also offer summer homestay/study programs in Costa Rica, France, Germany, Spain, Ecuador and Japan as well as semester programs in New Zealand, Spain, France Mexico, and Costa Rica. As a northwest organization, ANDEO works one on one with Oregon students to prepare them to get the most out of their homestay experience!
