FINANCES: Volunteer host families provide room and board. Students are fully insured and bring own money for personal expenses.
VISITOR REQUIREMENTS: 15-18 year old high school
students proficient in English.
Acceptance to ETC is based on academic transcripts, teacher recommendations, excellence on English proficiency test and overall application review.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Education Travel & Culture (ETC) provides opportunities for high school students from throughout the world to study in an American high school and live with an American family. ETC is proud to provide a forum for diverse cross-cultural experiences that foster heightened awareness and interest in the world at large. The goals of any international experience are increased cultural sensitivity and deeper international understanding. ETC offers the support, experience, and knowledge necessary to ensure personal growth and establish lifelong friendships.
