PROGRAM TYPE: Academic year or academic semester.
FINANCES: Host families are volunteers and are not compensated. Students have accident and health insurance and their own spending money.
VISITOR REQUIREMENTS: Ages 15 - 18 ½. Students are selected based on their English language skills, scholastic standing, cross-cultural skills and their motivation to succeed on an exchange program.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: International students ages 15 to 18 travel to the US for one academic year or semester. Students live with volunteer US host families and attend local high schools. Orientation is provided by CCI sending partners prior to departure and by CCI area representatives upon arrival. Counseling and supervision are provided throughout the stay. An option to donate six to ten hours per month in community service is the an emphasis on environmental concerns is available. Cost to participants starts at $4045, including insurance. Transportation, sending partner fees, and personal expenses are additional.
