PROGRAM TYPE: Student arrive either in August or January and stay 5 or 10 months.
VISITOR REQUIREMENTS: Must be between the ages of 15 and 18 ½ at the start of the program. Must be enrolled in school of home country, cannot have failed a year of school or English in past 3 yrs, studied 3 yrs of English, possess basic practical skills in written and spoken English. Demonstrate proper motivation and maturity to participate in the USA High School Program.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: CIEE’s USA High School program is a 5 month or 10 month academic, homestay program that enables qualified international high school students to attend high school in the U S. While living with a host family. Host families across the U.S. invite students into their homes as a member of their family to participate in all aspects of family and community life.
