PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Our programs attempt to blend the best ingredients designed to grow the best possible humans. Every program has a maximum of 6:1 student to teacher ratio ot offer better discussions of life-questions that arise and to prevent the ‘mini-america’ that is often created on study-abroad programs. We focus the core of our time on volunteer work, getting into remote and authentic communities, as well as spending a week on each program learning about that region’s form of religion. Group dynamics and community-building are also essential parts of our programs that we attempt to teach and train our students on. All of our programs offer optional college credit through Portland State University.
